Meet our Gold Coast medical centre doctors

All of the doctors in our practice have a strong commitment to general practice and continuing medical education. Whenever possible it is in your best interest to see the same doctor, who then becomes familiar with your history and can therefore give you the most appropriate advice and treatment.

Dr Sergey Bromberg – MBBS (VIC) , FRACGP

Dr Sergey Bromberg is a highly experienced GP and a Skin Cancer College of Australasia accredited doctor. He has been working with diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer for over 18 years and has completed special training in this area. Dr Bromberg performs full skin checks using appropriate equipment for diagnosis of a various skin cancers like melanomas, Basal cell carcinomas and Squamous cell carcinomas etc. He performs variety of procedures including biopsies and skin cancer removal using standard and plastic surgery techniques. Most services are bulk billed.


Dr Nora graduated from St George’s University of London in 2011. She carried out her postgraduate specialist studies in the South-West of London. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and The Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare. She has a Diploma in Women’s Health & Family Planning. Dr Nora is highly experienced in Facial Cosmetics, anti-wrinkle, dermal and lip filler treatments. Family Planning, sexual health, coil and implant insertions. Minor surgery and skin. Chronic disease management such as Diabetes and Respiratory Health and takes a proactive approach to health promotion. She has completed both foundation and advanced courses for use of Botulinum Toxin Type A and Dermal Fillers.

Dr Raham Behrouz FRACGP

Dr Behrouz returns to the Gold Coast after a stint in Airlie Beach. He has a keen interest in Chronic Disease Management and Skin Cancer Medicine. He is highly skilled when it comes to skin procedures. He can be booked to do a thorough skin screening check and removal of any suspicious moles or lesions if necessary.

Dr Justin Wong FRACGP

Dr Justin Wong graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011.  He gained extensive hospital experience at the Rockhampton Base and Gold Coast University hospitals prior to his journey into General Practice. Justin is a native of Canada and speaks fluent English as well as Cantonese. Prior to medicine, he was an electrical and computer engineer and worked on the oilsands of Northern Canada and the Scottish deepwater Schiehallion oilfields.

Dr Vanessa Chin FRACGP, MBBS, BMedSc (Hons), DipCH

Dr Vanessa Chin graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008. Following graduation, she moved to Sydney, where she initially undertook specialist physicians training. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP). She is well travelled and worked in various states as a GP including NSW, Tasmania, NT and now ending up in sunny QLD. She is multilingual and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and Bahasa Melayu (Malay). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Mia Pinchin – Physiotherapist DPT

Mia graduated from Bond University on the Gold Coast with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Mia has since worked in a number of disciplines including private practice, sports injury management and mobile community care. Mia enjoys working with a wide range of clinical populations with a focus on enhancing overall function and improving the quality of life for her patients. Mia is highly motivated and client-centred and values a combination of exercise and manual therapy to provide a holistic treatment approach to all clients.

Mia has a special interest in chronic pain and has extensive experience in community physiotherapy including hydrotherapy and home visits. Mia is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and aims to treat her patients with the latest evidence-based approach in mind.

Our team of Nurse Practitioner’s (NP)

It is our intention to reduce Emergency Department presentations at local Public and Private Hospitals as well as care for our day to day patient caseload, therefore Southport Metro Medical Centre has a team of highly experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP’s) who as individuals have a wide range of advanced and extended clinical skills and a specialised Scope of Practice. They provide autonomous, patient-centred care.
Our Nurse Practitioners are available to consult, treat, diagnose, manage conditions, refer for investigations and prescribe for our patients – some medical conditions may mean you need to be referred to one of our Doctors as well.

Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively as an independent member of the multidisciplinary health care team and add value to our Doctors care
