Late night GP appointments in Southport
When most Gold Coast GP clinics close at 5pm, we are still open. If you work during the day and can never get to a doctor, or your child gets sick in the afternoon, our late evening appointments mean you do not need to wait until tomorrow or go to emergency.
We see patients for the same conditions you would see any GP for, just at times that work around your life. Prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals, sick kids, mental health, skin checks, ongoing conditions, and everything in between.
Our weekly schedule
We rotate between an A week and a B week. The late nights (open til 9pm) shift between different days each week so our doctors can cover them fairly. All other weeknights we close at 7pm.

After-hours Medicare rebates
For appointments after 6pm on weekdays and all day on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, a higher Medicare item number applies. This means Medicare covers a larger portion of your consultation fee compared to a standard daytime appointment. See our fees page for exact figures.

Colds, flu, ear infections, throat infections, chest infections, UTIs, gastro and fevers.
Scripts and Certificates
Repeat prescriptions, new scripts, medical certificates and referrals.

Billing & Fees
We are a mixed billing practice. After-hours Medicare rebates are higher than standard daytime rebates. Bulk billing available for under 16s, Concession and DVA card holders at the doctor’s discretion.

We are inside Australia Fair Metro Shopping Centre on Scarborough Street in central Southport. Easy to reach from Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Labrador, Broadbeach, Bundall, Benowa, Ashmore and surrounding suburbs. Best parking is off Garden Street.
