Our Gold Coast Medical Centre can Help with Mental Health Issues that you or someone you know is experiencing
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), mental health is the state of well-being in which every individual with their own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to their community. To book an appointment please call (07) 5612 7830 or BOOK ONLINE.
Nearly half of all Australians (45%) will experience some form of mental illness during their lifetime, and those that don’t will most likely know someone that does. But there’s still a lot of stigma and confusion around the topic and that’s where learning and growing comes in.
It’s important to make sure that as many people as possible know what mental illness looks like and what can be done to treat it – even if it’s not an issue for you right now, it might be one day, either for you or someone you know.
As a medical centre, we strive towards a community that embraces and maintains mental, social and emotional wellbeing for all people.
If you or someone you know is experiencing signs and symptoms of any mental disorders or would like further information on available treatment and be directed to the relevant people to talk to, please come and talk with one of our General Practitioners about various options.
